Standard Product Guarantee
We understand that it can be a little daunting when buying furniture online and in order to protect you as our customer and to give you a little more peace of mind with your purchase, all of our products are covered against manufacturing defects for a period of at least 12 months from the date of delivery.
In addition, we offer a free 5 year manufacturer's guarantee on all of the Bed Frames that we, Oakworth Furniture, manufacture. Please see below for full details.
Should you experience a genuine manufacturing defect outside of the guarantee period, please do get in touch and we will look to resolve this for you.
Oakworth Furniture 5 Year Workmanship Guarantee
The Oak Bed Store guarantees to repair or replace any part of an Oakworth Furniture bed frame deemed to be defective due to faulty materials or workmanship, free of charge, for a period of 5 years starting from the date of delivery.
Please note that your order number (starting with #) is your guarantee. This is provided when you complete your order, is emailed to you as an order confirmation email, and is available within your Account on our website.
- When your delivery arrives make sure you check everything carefully. Please let our customer service team know about any damage as soon as possible on 02393 552 550.
- We’ll need photos of the fault.
- Sometimes we might arrange to send a furniture technician to have a look. The decision of this inspector will be final.
- If repair or replacement isn’t possible we’ll offer you the chance to pick an equivalent product.
- The guarantee is non-transferable and only applies to the original buyer and UK mainland. Your statutory rights aren’t affected by these terms and conditions.
The 5 Year Oakworth Furniture Guarantee does not apply:
- If the Goods have been used for any purpose other than that in which they were intended
- To cosmetic deterioration resulting from reasonable wear and tear (including the natural ageing of constituent materials).
- To accidental damage after our delivery team have left.
- To soiled products (it’s worth using a mattress protector).
- To any product other than Oakworth Furniture branded Bed Frames. Such products will be covered by our 12 month guarantee as standard. This includes mattresses unless otherwise stated in the product description.
- To items reduced for our SALE (covered by our 12 month guarantee). Unless otherwise stated in the product description.
- To B Grade or Clearance items (covered by our 12 month guarantee). Unless otherwise stated in the product description.
